Life, Auditions & Guys….

So busy! So much work. But loving every minute of it. I have grumpy moments. Yet i’m shaking them off. Life’s too short to play silly sorts. If i’m being honest, it’s crazy how everything’s just changing for me work wise. I’ve hustled really hard for a really long time and i’m still at it…tinkering away. (I worked all day yesterday, took care of Ruby and Junior and then filmed an audition, before getting to up at five o clock this morning to work some more.) I’ve got my fingers crossed and all the hope in the world. God, I have all the hope in the world. There’s a glint in my kitten eyes. Yet something tells me that this time, it’s all going to be dandy.  It FEELS really good! Everything in life is all about how you FEEL and right now, i feel on top of the world. I’m smashing it. As a guy used to always say to me…

‘You’re on flames babe.’

I breathe out all the time, in disbelief because I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. But i’m getting there. I’m en route…I just need to focus and put some fire crackers in my frilles. 🙂

Anyway, even away from Wunna Land, so much is going on in the world. We all know that. But i’m someone who will always focus on the good and never give power to the bad. My soul is far too delicious waste my time on any negativity. So like I said in my last blog, it’s a great time to be a WOMAN. A ‘W.O.M.A.N’  (*Sassy* click here.) Feel powerful. There are so reasons for you to be happy. So own your womanhood.

I mean with everything that has come out about the Harvey Weinstein drama and all the women and men who have opened up about their own personal experiences of ‘sexual harassment’ in entertainment…(I did my entire 20’s in Hollywood, in the entertainment industry. I found myself in numerous situations where in which some guy in power, who would have my career dangling on a stick, right in front of me, would attempt to offer himself to me suggestively or try to make me offer myself to him suggestively, in order to gift me with my apparent ‘dreams come true.’ It happens all the time. Infact, it happened to me a month and a half ago, in England. Who do some people think they’re trying to kid?)

Luckily, I’m a tough cookie…and I’m not someone who would EVER…EVER surrender to such Tom Foolery. Especially being a Mum to a little girl. I’m a good human. I’m a sassy human. I don’t play like that. I have far too much faith in myself, timing, talent and in life. I don’t need to take shortcuts, because when I *bloom,* it will be done at the right time, the right way and with a good energy…a glittery happiness…an giddy warmth…a decent flair of panache.

But i whole heartedly stand by every single woman, that has come forward, be you Angelina Jolie, or Suzie from around the block…who has opened up and told their story, as it will keep your hearts safe and keep entertainment about creative talent and not about what some people feel they negatively NEED to DO, to get where they want to be. Say NO, to what we in LA used to label the ‘Casting Couch.’ It’s a disgrace! Believe in yourself and your own talents. Don’t panic. Don’t rush. You’ll get there. I promise. If you work hard, learn to be great at what you do and just be a decent person, who stays loyal to what they believe is right.

ANYWAY, I’ve got lost in the jumble. I’m meant to be telling you about my time with Inadequate Chris.

I filmed on Sunday with him in Park Square Leeds. We had the most amazing time and did the most amazing comedy sketches. We also filmed a few bits for Snapchat, to tickle their delightful new features. And soon you can delight in a bit of Inadequate Chris/Wunna Land hilarity. We work really well as a comedy duo. I’m not a serious person. I know how to have a good time. And even though he’s a lot shyer than I am…(He made us wait on a park bench for ages in Park Square, Leeds until a random gang of boys had left, before he would film his scene Lol) he’s a pretty great talent.

That day I learnt that I can talk nonsense with the greatest of ease, when a cameras put in my face, that we’re not the cast of Hollyoaks, that I might win a BAFTA and that everything ends in cocktails. (Remember, if I do anything, I only ever ask for a phone charging facility and some form of celebratory alcoholic beverage.)

After filming we walked up to the ever so glamourous Victoria Gate in Leeds ( I adore bouji. I love the Victoria Quarter)..Chris wheeled his push bike, with a backpack, tripod and camera shoved in it, as we chatted about our day of filming.

Chris: ‘You’re pretty likeable. There’s a likeability to you.’

The sun shone down on us and the wind was a little brisk. It was crisp. Traffic was everywhere, yet steady. I was talking about a guy a met earlier in the year,  his love life and a show I recently filmed…and then we finally got to the glorious Victoria Gate entrance, where life turns into luxury, the world surrenders to peace and you glamourously take that elevator up to Level 3, to Issho.

I love Leeds. I remember strutting through the streets at the end of the day, just feeling the air, the city and the buzz around me. It made me beam. It made me feel at home. Like the world was my oyster. It is SUCH a great city!

Now, Chris and I have ended up being quite good friends. We tell each other a lot. He’s currently dating someone new and adoring it. I mean they’re definitely in that initial ‘happy, but are we secure’ stage…he didn’t say that, but I know that. I watched him chitter about his girl and when he did, his eyes lit up. That’s how I know they are going to be okay. 🙂

I’ve said this before…and I got this from Josh the bartender. (He whispered it across a bar, as I sipped a salted rimmed margarita.)

A guy who loves a girl will ALWAYS PUT HER ON A PEDESTAL. No girl will ever compare to her. She’ll be his everything. And as a girl, you’ll feel it. You’ll feel on top of the world. And if you don’t….you’re not on that pedestal yet. You know when you are. But you know when you’re not. We as girls tend to make excuses for the guys at this point. Don’t….if you’re meant to be his Goddess, you will be!

I can officially state that Inadequate Chris, has merrily ‘pedestal placed’ his new girlfriend..So we decided to celebrate it with the finest Japanese lunch, cocktails and white wines. I adore the bouji peacefulness of Issho. It is filled with a magical swirl that lets your soul enjoy the finer things in life, yet it does it beautifully and calmly….Where you’re at your most ZEN. We chatted about everything for hours…and then tried to get the best value for money throughout the wine list and menu. (It’s a Yorkshire thing.)

Chris: ‘This is why I love hanging out with you. You always tell it how it is,  but make me feel good about myself. No, I don’t like wine.’

Me: ‘You’re such a Queen.’

(Do note…He’s ever so straight. Just gentle, like a Queen by nature. Almost emotionally Royal. I’m a glamour puss directed with a shimmie of absolute femininity. However, I have the most inappropriately masculine sense of humour. )

After we drank loads and spoke about life, under the Issho lights, I noticed that when it comes to love, he is certainly someone that I would label a ‘ love bunny.’ So he’ll adore a girl madly and want to spend every single waking minute of the day with them. In return, she has to adore him madly. And it’s cute.

I love love…but I’m an independent career girl. I’m romantic and loving…but as the saying goes ‘behind every great man is an even greater woman’ I am that woman. I can’t be asred cooking ya tea, but i’ll make you the greatest man alive!

Nothing is better to me than empowering people to be the best they can be. I do it positively. There’s a cheeky warmth about it all. It’s not evil. I love bringing the best in folk,  who don’t actually realise how amazing they are!

Anyway, I’m exhausted. I’m off to bed. I’m working all day tomorrow, the kids are on a school trip and I’ve got 2 more auditions, plus a book to write.  I’m pretty lucky. No. I’m really lucky. Hard work, pays off.

In the Name of James…

I’m back! Sorry! I’ve been so busy working. Luckily towards the end of the year, it all pans out beautifully and I will finally be able to delight in having more time to do what I love…which is to tell my story…and blog!

I don’t even know where I ended up last. But since then my fabulous gay friend Liam ended up on my telly and I watched him tinker his looks on ‘Body Fixers’ on E4, to change a look that the masses believed resembled ‘Alan Carr’ to just ‘Being Liam.’ The thing about Liam (and I am quite close to him) is that he is a really talented entertainer. He plays it down well. But when I once went to watch him do his Cabaret type shimmies in Blackpool, I was astounded at how talented an entertainer he actually is. I guess, it’s always a surprise when people play things down. But as we know. I adore a talented human. It doesn’t matter what they do, I’m delighted by talented beings.

Anyway, on Monday, he invited me down to Viva Blackpool to be part of raising awareness and raising funds for the James Bulger Memorial Trust. It’s a charity really close to my heart, as being a Mum…I honestly can’t imagine how Denise (who is the mother of little James Bulger,) not only stays so strong, yet has managed to turn her personal experience, that the ENTIRE world would regards as heart breakingly tragic, into something so selfless and positive, in order to help others who may go through the same. I met Denise that night and she beamed at me with a smile and a warmth that was nothing short of true compassion and strength. It was such an honour. It was humbling.

The event was star studded! I’m a huge music fan. I’m a huge musical theatre fan also. So a gigantic show was put on, filled with the most heart racing talent…I mean I watched Lydia Lucy from The Voice (words cannot even describe how amazing her voice is), Connor Mckenna from Pitch Battle, Gary Barker who is currently on this years XFactor and The Jersey Boys, who you can’t help but fancy…You couldn’t even pick one NOT TO FANCY! Those boys can harmonize around me ANYTIME, in those fitted red blazers and squeezy tight dress trousers.  It was just a star studded swirl of Viva magic…Dinner, drinks…and an ambience that sizzled with life, love and sequins. (I totally had Pina Coladas. It felt very Pina Coladary.)

Anyway, the trek to Blackpool (even though I’m Northern) seems quite lengthy, it took hours. But I ended up getting there in time, working out on the promenade and dolling up to glamour puss in it in the name of James Bulger.

I was meeting Lisa (as in Appleton) there, who I’ve known for quite a long time now. In 2009, we were on TV shows at the same time, so we also know the same people. (We all did the circuit at that time) I am actually really good friends with Rex who was trapped in the Big Brother House with her during that time.

Her tyre busted en route to the event, so she ended up being late, so I totally stole her room at the New Osbourne, which was beautiful and laden with fluffy fresh sheets, champagne and a teddy bear! I know! How cute. I love it there. The service is impeccable. I’m a service girl. 😉

But when she arrived, and ‘Aaron the Pap’ had *papped* away during our entrance, we had the best time ever.

Image may contain: 4 people, people smiling, people standing and indoor

We’re both Northern, we both know fun and how to have it,  we’re both the type of gals who see life as the ‘big picture.’ I remember speaking to her in the loos, as she produced a sassy bottle of cider from her handbag. (You know you’re northern when that happens.) Infact she chose the size of her handbag based upon it’s ability to hold cider. Lol. Anyway, the thing about Lisa is that she’ll talk about anything openly and I love that about her. She’s a really good soul and a person that never takes advantage of anyone. She’s giving. She gentle. But certainly not a push over. I like her a lot…and she delights in my glamorous HONESTY. 🙂 I had some of that cider and laughed along with her. I mean, a lot of people say a lot about her. She’s in the press almost every day. Yet when she’s 80, she’ll be able to look back upon her time and laugh, knowing that she lived and that she had the best time on Earth ever.

Liam, Lisa & Ryan Mira (who is her PR,) infact the lot of them…all shimmied off to ‘Peek a Boo’s’ after the event for a night of absolute ‘Drag Queen ‘ debauchery. I love a Queen. I used to ‘Piggy Back’ them outside The Abbey in LA, in my 20’s. Useful form of transport really. I was dating one of the bartenders at the time…and it was strange because my ‘Queen’ transport fancied him too. Lol. My transport secretly hated me. I thought she was a bit whippy around the corners.

As per usual, like everyone does, they tried to make me ‘Peek a Boo’ it with them, with a ‘We’re only going to be another hour, come on!’ (I’m lame now. I love to do cocktails etc and wink the night in luxury and glamourousity…But I don’t stay out. I like to go home, go back to the hotel and just go to bed or chill. Lol. I’m awful for it. Even my friends know…Once i’m done…and it’ll always be earlier than everyone else…I’ll just leave to put my comfies on.  Haha.)

Yet away from that, I’m so wise to the ‘we’re only gunna be’ line, that I should have it embroided onto my frillies.

Straight away I called my own taxi back to The New Osborne, because I knew I had a really early start in the morning and had to be up and on a six o clock train to Leeds for work. I went to bed around midnight….Snapchatted everything. Set my alarm for five o clock in the morning….(I kinda woke up every hour and didn’t sleep that well. But you do don’t you, when you know you’re away from home and need to be somewhere early. When you need to catch trains and all that jizzle.)

AAAANNNNNYWAY….Team ‘We’re only going to be an hour’ ROCKED BACK TO THE HOTEL at FIVE O CLOCK IN THE MORNING, as my ALARM went off for ‘Wake Up.’

It actually sounded like they had the best time…They were laughing out loud and I was sliding out of my fluffy sheets with this random teddy bear, to get showered and do my face, after a nights sleep.

I was at the station and on the train as soon as their heads hit a pillow. Ofcourse my train got cancelled and I had to get on the 7.11am one instead, so I just sat, on my own, at a train station in Blackpool at six o clock in the morning chilling….

By 9am, I was back in Leeds and off to work. Lol.

I actually scrolled through Twitter quickly and saw that we were in The Mirror… and infact the Daily Star…

Great times! Good fun! Amazing people. And more than anything, an evening dedicated to such an important and such a good good cause, the James Bulger Memorial Trust!

My heart honestly goes out to all Mums, children and families, who are going through or have been through the same….There was a lot of talent there and the place was celeb packed, but what an absolute honour to meet Denise Fergus, (James’ Mum) who couldn’t be a more positive soul. Watching her strength, gives you an immediate reality check and inspires you to reunite with your own inner Hero.

Cocktaily Happiness & Chicken Chow Wunna?

The best weekend ever. Just filled with everything that I’ve wanted to do and nothing that i’ve HAD TO DO. Bliss! I feel like a proper life solider right now, as its taken a long ass time to get to this point of ‘just feeling great.’ I’m really happy. I’m looking around me and feeling as though everything that I stand for, everything that I am, everything that I’ve accomplished or everything that I love is just great and I might not have everything in the world, but what I have is so good it’s priceless. It feel juicy and that *juice* is magical.

It’s weird because I always feel like I’ve achieved a lot. Career wise. Emotionally. All sorts. I’ve set myself goals throughout life and pretty much smashed them with a wink and maybe a bit of a wiggle. Yet, I guess, it important for people to not compare themselves to other people. A lot of people do that. The whole, ‘I don’t have what they have’ syndrome. But the real fact is, that you have what’s ours and you can create your own future. You’re always a decision away from that. Yet, it’s when you look around yourself and you see how great you’ve done, when you appreciate the good things in your life and flush away the shitty bits…it’s then when you start to feel good.

Do your life. Your way. Enjoy it. Do it the way you’ve always wanted. Say what you want. Life the way you’ve always wished. It makes you feel good and when you feel good….good things happen to ya. Simples!

People screw themselves over with the picture in their head of how their life is supposed to be. Absolutely be inspired. I’m really dynamic by nature. I’m someone who is naturally ambitious, but just not a dick. Get what you want. Work hard for it. But all the while you’re forgetting to smell the roses, know that you’ll never get to your happy place.

I had a busy Friday, yet it lead me into an awesome Saturday. I did a quick Friday night drink at Ego before home. It was cute because I was pissed off with work stuff and therefore expressed my pissed offidness to Bartender Josh. Yet I peeked to his side, one of his other young bartendery companions, was all blushy …but macho because a girl, a hot one that he really adores had walked into the restaurant. It’s cute to watch how guys react to a girl they actually really adore. Not a shabby one. One that they actually fluster for. It changes them. It’s weird. They worry about how they’ll come across. They don’t want to mess it up. Yet at the same time, even though their heart is all a flutter, they always try and play it cool. It was cute. I hope she adores him. (And me being a girl…I know she does. 😉 )

But  yes, i’ve had the best ‘lay in’s all weekend. I spent my Saturday with Ruby and Junior (My babies, The Wunna Babies.) We just did life, loved it and laughed through it. We shopped, we played, we lunched, we picked out our design for this years Christmas tree. We read to each other. We had a dance off. But more than anything we just loved. I’m SO lucky. I never take anything for granted, at all ever and it disturbs me when people do.

Yes, i’m sassy. Yes, I’m a bit of a swaggalicious bad ass. 😉 I’ll tell it how it is and i’ll do it with banter and glamorousity. But my soul is good. There’s a light hearted warmth to me. You’ll only ever know that if you’re near me, because you’ll feel it. I treat people well and I treat them well when i have the upmost respect for them. I treat them well even before that. That’s why I hate bad manners and people who treat others, or especially myself 🙂 shitty, because no one likes it, no ones deserves it and it doesn’t go well with a cocktails. I’m not trying to sound ‘Rainbow Brite’…it’s dull and not real, because let’s not get it twisted, if you were to push my ‘ DIVA’ button,

HA H’HAA!

You’d hate it.

Firmonnell and I have been texting all day. Big D (her Hubbster)  is sick, so she was looking for a ‘Motherly’ companion to do life with…away from getting the lergy. Ruby & Junior do Sunday’s with their Daddies..so this Mother has dresses to buy and cocktails to drink. 🙂 I’m at a charity event tomorrow in Blackpool, so I had to do last minute ‘dashing,’ writ this blog and then treat myself to booze afterwards. My night will be filled with dress fittings, warm baths and tanning. Yeah Dolls!

Firmonnell: ‘I’m in a shit play area.’

Me: ”I’m off to do cocktails.’

I’m getting loads of messages right now. I’m reading the good ones and frisbeeing away the bad ones. Anything that comes into Wunna land with a naggy tone of ‘eww’ or bad news get’s frisbeed. All that’s good….get’s embraced with kitten kisses.

Mel’s tripped over a hoover and cut her head open. Rocco my kitten is enjoying life in Wunna land. I’m excited for Christmas. I’m excited for the New year. I’m keeping things simple and not opening doors that don’t want me to open them. Good things feel like they’re coming. You know when you can just sort of feel it in the air? I can feel it, they’re coming.

Next Year…the career takes a step up. It’s an exciting time.

But all in all, what can I say, other than I have ACE guy friends. So Reuben, I’ve known him for millions of years. Since I was a teen. Normal people, would just have a Sunday roast and get on with their day. He could’ve had banter with his Baby Ramona. Made love to his girlfriend. But no…Reuben decides he’s going to create this picture…

Image may contain: 1 person, food

…and post it on my Facebook wall. It’s meant to be ‘Chicken Chow Wunna.’ Hahaha.

I was driving about. I had no clue what was going on. Pulled up. Looked down at my phone. DIED when I saw that Reuben had posted something on my wall…and then saw the above picture. LOl.

Luckily for Reuben, we share the same sense of humour  and weirdly, in that moment I sat in my car, outside of Junction 32 PISSING MYSELF laughing at it for a good 4 minutes, like a nut job, in my faux fur and knee high boots.

Hahaha.

It’s ace. It properly made me smile. Now my Facebook wall is filled with all sorts. A dildo, some dirty knickers or something? I can’t keep up.

Image may contain: 1 person, smiling, text     Image may contain: 1 person, smiling

I dread what he’ll do to my pics from tomorrow evening’s event, as one of his favourite’s will be there. It makes him really creative. Lol.

Me: ‘Is this gonna go on all day?’

Reuben: ‘Just until I have something to do…’

But I guess, it’s the small things….

It’s always the small things…

Chrissie x

UUUuuuuuuuuuuuughh!

I might have gone out for cocktails in Leeds last night and made up a Daiquiri infused dance routine, that I performed to the masses, like I was Beyonce.

If you know me well, you will know this noise that I make…

‘UUUUUUUUUUUuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuGh!’

It’s the noise I make on a daily when i’ve hit the absolute shame button or *tinged* the ‘really bored’ bell.

Unfortunately, this time it was the shame button. And it wasn’t even to a rickety old song, where you get away with just being a tosser. I can’t think of one? Y’know, like Whitney’s ‘Wanna Dance With Somebody.’ That’s rickety and inncocent. Young girls and old biddies, get away with parading around singing that loudly like fools.

It was to SWALLA!

‘UUUUUUUUUUuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh!’

So, you can imagine what my Daiquiri infused dance routine of this song would be like….People were STOOD watching me in this fucking cocktail bar…and I kept performing it loads, like I thought I was really great…I hit The Liquroist, Ginos, Tattu…You name it…it was a glittery, swirl of the most glamoruous ‘boom boom’ flash backing. I can’t even tell you! That last minute swirl of ‘lets have some fun’ was MADNESS.

‘You didn’t go on your own did you? Hahah.’

Do know, that is normal behaviour for me. I go LOTS of places on my own. I really love my own company. I’m confident. I’m not someone that needs a tribe, I do like a tribe….but probably because I know I have a tribe. Makes alone time much more fulfilling.

But yeah, no such luck. Totally dragged ‘Lissy’ and ‘Ginge’ out with me. Lissy does makeup and is in charge of doing my face for the next shoot. Ginge…is a casting director. I have an audition today for a 4 Music show.

The last time I woke up (and I don’t feel rough, it wasn’t tipsiness that got the better of me, it was the wave of ‘good times.’ Told ya! I can drink cocktails all night and feel a million percent fine. I didn’t even stay out late.) Anyway, the last time I woke up and delivered the…

‘Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuggggh! What have I done!?! But no really, I can’t remember? What have I done? I dread to think’ spiel?

Was probably about 3 weeks ago? Was it three weeks ago? Probably around that time? Who knows? But you get it. When what boys called ‘Beer Fear’ creeps up on you. That’s what happened. Yet, much more glamourously, as that time, I woke up in the most decadent and bouji London hotel room. It was filled with melted ice wine buckets, with hair extensions on the floor and room service wandering around early in the morning, holding a silver tray, adorned with sausage sandwiches….whilst I was still naked and laid in bed. (There is a blog to come on that little Wunna Land moment…Yet, it won’t be out JUST YET. I’ve written it. I’m just having to wait. It’s a great story. You’ll love it. And you’ll also get to watch it. Well not that bit. Haha.)

So yeah, although that was on a much larger scale. Luckily, I was only ‘Robin’ to someone else’s even more foolish ‘Batman’ routine. Hahah! Plus, I didn’t skid on the dancefloor, which was covered in the booze of others, and fall on my booty, to the Kayne West ‘Gold digger’ track.. in sequins. So yeah…I’m still winning.

I just had a really good time. The Leeds crowd applauded me. The semi circle was formed. (We refer to a moment as the ‘semi circle.’ It is the moment of the night, each night, where my chick friends and I look up and see that a male semi circle has formed around us…all hopeful…all weird…all in tight tops….and all toyboys.) We left the semi circle. We always leave the ‘semi circle’ for the more needy girls, who aren’t so comfy in their love life situation, to enjoy. I can’t be arsed with the circle of ‘semi.’

Got home. Rested up. I feel great! I’m writing my book today and doing my 4 Music audition later, I have got LOADS TO DO and to ORGANISE.

I’m not sure how my yesterday ended that way? I mean, I’d literally indulged in the most ‘family’ day ever. I had Ruby and junior duties, other duties, family lunches, bouncy castles, matches, dinner at TGI’s, shopping sprees, innocent cocktails at Ego…All sorts. We had the BEST family day ever. I had a proper Mummy day and we loved every single little inch of it. They are my entire world. Ruby shouted out yesterday,

‘It’s like the other way around??? Our Dad’s don’t let us do anything bad. But mum just lets us have fun!’

*Rolls Eyes!* She could’ve worded that better.

Infact, whilst we were at TGI’s this guy, a dad, who was sat on his own started talking to me. He was lovely and so just easy to chat to. He looked at me….and just said,

‘You’ve done a really great job.’

‘Yeah,it’s much easier now that they’re  six and four and not two and newborn.’

‘I’ve never seen more independent kids. They can literally do everything. You’ve done well. They really respect you.’

‘I’m not sure about that. But thank you. That’s sweet.’

‘My daughters ordered a mocktail. When I was a kid, we just used to play out on our bikes…I love how it’s all changed.’

I’ve never heard anyone say how much they love the change in the world…so it made me like his manner, because he wasn’t someone that dwelled on the past, he was someone willing to embrace the present and roll with the punches, when it came to the future. He wasn’t even creepy. Just nice. He had a wife and everything. Sweet guy.

My mum always says, that those little conversations that you have with random people who stop you to chat, are people you’re meant to meet. They’re sent to you, to teach you something. Just for a second. And even though that may not be true. I just totally love the idea of it.

So yeah, my babies, might have a mocktail, eat a bunch of sweets, sass it out…and often get spoilt. All bad things really. YET, I could’ve dropped them both off at TGI’s and they would’ve known how to get a table, order their meal, pay for it with a card machine and get a taxi home. They’ve done it with me so much, that they just get. I make them learn it. If I dropped them off at a hotel, Ruby would know how to check in, commit to the payment process and find the room AND order room service. Lol. So there. I’m sure i’m teaching them survival tips. It might not be Bear Gryls. But fuck it, we’re living Wunna Land.

Shit, I got distracted….

The day turned to night….I whizzed off a message that read,

‘Off for drinks with the chicks…’

Then the world became my oyster….

Good times! Great fun! Always try and make memories. I don’t wanna be 80, look back and think..

‘Ah shit! I was really dull.’

Well…unfortunately that would never happen, as GOD, my life has been just SURREAL. Hahaha. I wish you could see into my head. I cannot even believe some of the stuff i’ve got myself into. Hopefully when i’m 80, i’ll also lose bits of my memory. Yeah, let’s hope rum steals those parts away from my brain.

Do what you want. Love what you do! Stand by what you believe is right for you! LIVE!

ps/ I’ve definitely just watched Hustle Barbie’s Snapchat story. Was she across town? She must have been? And whilst I was doing my Swalla dance routine? Everyone should move to Leeds. It’s the best. Anyway she’s stood next to a girl, who’s dressed as the Statue of Liberty, in a fast food joint and ofcourse she’s dressed as ‘Sandy from Grease’ and they’re pointing a TOY gun humans….Hahaha!

Seems like everyone had a great weekend AND it’s not even over yet!

Yipppppppppppppppppppeeeeeeeeeeee!

The Bigger The Hoops, Love & Cocktails

Woke up this morning feeling not so snazzy. I think i’m gonna go with ROUGH. Yeah rough. I hated it. Feeling rough is just not me anymore. Lol.

I kinda just ran a bath, immersed myself in it, cosied my soul with a delicious bubbly comfort and then dried myself off, before opening ALL the windows, EVERY window in all of the land (I always need to feel free when i’m a pile of roughage) and then I just laid there, butt naked…still on my bed, on top of my flamingo sheets, with my eyes closed, as I let the coolest dancing breeze, slowly and sexily *whooooooosh* on in and tinker all over my rough kitten body. BLISS! It was fucking BLISS!

Junior was at his Dads, Ruby hadn’t got home from her holiday yet and there I was…doing life…butt naked on flamingo sheets, wondering why I had ventured out into Pontefract for drinks. Lol. I am far too old for such Tom Foolery. My body needs all kinds of a rest…and not ‘songs from the 90’s’ madness.

I woke up with a navy blue dot on my hand. It was done in felt tip. We all had one. This is what happened…I went to The Carleton, for ‘just one,’ as the saying goes. I was about to leave after my ‘just one,’ however, as I was getting my bag together, someone tapped me, I looked up and with a…

‘Hey yup…What you doing here…’

…everything turned from a ‘nothing’ to a shimmie.

It was Mel. She decided to smash a bit of ‘Bank Holiday’ Sunday with ‘Fairytale Blond,’ who had also arranged to meet up with ‘Hoops’ for a bit of a local razzle dazzle. Now, I hate going out in Pontefract. I hardly ever do it. I’ll do a village pub and enjoy it, but trendy little cocktail bars in Leeds is my forte. Such a forte now, that they invite me and pay me to show up at them, simply to cause glamourous blog havoc. And I love it. It’s the story telling afterward that I love the most.

Outside drinks where had in the sun, giggles, chats about our love lives….I think they tried to give me love life advice, yet I never listen to advice because I’m stubborn and secretly always know what i’m doing. Haha. I should probably take advice. (I never take advice. My gut instinct is too good.)

But i’m honest, so i’ll always tell the girls what I directly feel about something or anything really. Yet, it’s important to make sure you listen to advice, but then just do what you want, because I’m different to ‘Fairytale,’ who’s so different to Mel, who’s really different to ‘Hoops’ and well…. you get the conga line that i’m trying to form. And we all have different destinations in life.

The reason why i’m saying this is because later that evening ‘Hoops’ (who I adore) had a chat with me, in the dark, under the stars. She told me all these secrets about her own love life. The ‘oohs’ the ‘laa’s’ the naughty bits…and the bits inbetween. 😉 The time she’s going through kinda reminded me of my LA days, so like a magnet, my soul stood by hers.

Then we went back inside…(Oh we ended up getting a taxi into town, even though i tried to refuse the journey)…and after jugs of cocktails, more drinks, chitter chatter, packed bars, and really good times, with really good friends….(I love Fairytale, when she’s drunk, she just turns WILD!) But anyway, ‘Hoops’ decides she’s going to open up and tell everyone the story….Lol

‘Well I told Chrissie, because I knew she wouldn’t judge me…’

Ooh. I felt honoured. Everyone did a supportive *shocked* face. It was literally hilarious. I wasn’t necessarily shocked as ..well i’ve done a lot worse than that in my life. Lol. But I did scan the table and notice that, we as girls are pretty great because we’ll always tell you want you want to hear and wave the flag of support, even if it’s something we would never do ourselves. We’ll understand you and hold ya hand with ‘cocktail smiles.’ Sometimes you need that! It’s not always the best thing, yet sometimes you just need that.

Hoops: ‘The bigger the hoop the bigger the…’

Fairytale: ‘Willy?’

Hoops: ‘No…! Hoe! Hahaha.’

Me: ‘I love that she didn’t get that… I love drunk Fairytale! I love a big hoop! It’s ghetto fabulous.’

Fairytale: ‘Have you seen that granny at the bar….I want to be HER when i’m 80!!! She’s loving it. I AM her!!!’ When I’m 80, i’m gonna rock up to the bar.’

I look away…

Me: ‘Are you okay?’

Hoops: ‘I’m the HAPPIEST i have ever been.’

Me: ‘Good just checking…Make sure you never let anyone judge you. All the lessons you’ll learn… you’ll learn. I lived a naughty one…and well i havent’ done too badly for myself. Lol. Just enjoy it.’

We all laughed. We all loved. We had moved to another pub by now. We were literally wallowing in rounds and rounds of drinks. Then Mel requested…’The Snake,’ which was much better that fucking Steps. (And I love a bit of Steps. Don’t get me wrong. I just wasn’t in the mood to Root Scooting baby’ it.) But i went with it anyway. Fuck it. I’m fun. I love a good song, a love a good dance. I am great on a night out. You can rely on that! I’m made for good times.

Cue song: (Just so you can feel like you were there. This was on in our background.)

Literally pub, to pub, to pub, to pub. Dance off with ‘Hoops.’ Love life chats with Mel and Selfies with ‘Fairytale.’

Fairytale: ‘Take a picture of me and Chrissie. Noooo…another one.’

Each time we left a pub I SWORE that I was going home. They MADE ME go to the next bar..honest!! They MADE ME.

‘You’re staying out Wunna!’

‘I just need to go home.’

‘No. Just come to one more pub..’

We all ended up with blue dots on our hands. That’s what happens when you stay out.

Mel: ‘What the fuck are these?’

They were literally the height of glamour. NOT! I can’t be a Glamour Puss and walk around with a felt tip dot on my hand.

It was such a good time. An accidental, spontaneous blow out. Which is odd, as i’m a girl who enjoys routine. I like to know what i’m doing and when i’m doing it…with a plan. But mainly because I grew up with my entire life scheduled. Even from being a kid, as I was getting pulled out of school to audition for this, model for that, do a dancing competition here, another audition there. Everything was a schedule. Then in LA, my job, acting and modelling…was all completely scheduled to a ‘T.’ It had to be.

Last night was so much fun!

‘Double B is gonna be so pissed off that she’s missed this!’

I left early…I left them all at the Tap & Barrel and some new Gin Bar. I know when i’m done and by then I was done. I needed a sleep and…well…just a sleep. However, during my walk to the cash machine to pull out money for the taxi, I just wanted to *blink* and be home! People kept shouting my name at me. Everyone was out…and I just remember waving at people I didn’t know, wishing that I was home. Hahaha. I’m great when surrounded by people, yet not necessarily when i’m drunk, tired and on my own. I like my bubble. I love Wunna Land. I love my own friends. But I did actually say ‘hello’ to everyone and took the time to chitter with them. I’m good like that. My manners are pretty decent. Even when knackered. I hate bad manners.

I finally got home…and within seconds, after  a bag of crisps, I fell asleep immediately. I could’ve slept in the taxi home, but weirdos were in it with me.

Good night.

My chick friends and I always seem to be there for one another…regardless….even as time passes. That’s what i’ll miss the most, as obviously i’m headed into a new chapter…which will sort of pluck me away from them…They’ll always be a major part of my life…Yet I guess I won’t see them as much. It happens all the time to me, so i’m used to it. Yet life is made of new chapters. I’ve lived so many that I know how important it is to embrace them. Everything happens for a reason. The people you meet, the situations you end up in. Even where you are. They’re important. They’re your ‘stop offs,’ the places where you need to be in order to learn something, before you get delivered to your HAPPY final destination…You might not know why you’re there or how you’re there…But you’re meant to be. You land there to gather a certain piece of life info. You do that at every stop. When you get to your final bit of forever…The last chapter of ‘happiness….’ you appreciate it so much more. You’ll find you’re in the right place, with the right person, doing the right kind of life.

So yeah, I might have felt like death but i’m actually fine now. It was worth it. I’ll feel better. I’ll recover and be right as rain. I’ve made memories…and I’ve ALSO managed to find my way to Ego in Ackworth to cushion my soul with the ‘hair of the dog.’ Yippeee.

‘I need a Fosters. I’m rough.’

To be fair…I’ve done an interview AND A SHOOT this morning. ‘Ego Hannah’ is currently making a ‘Game of Thrones’ themed cocktail and i’m sat at the bar with my pink laptop on my knee…blogging…by a half of Fosters, watching strangers order Pornstar Martinis. (I’ve got really into drinking a Foster’s now. I’d usually Bloody Mary it to recover. But now it’s all about a Foster’s recovery. I still prefer a Bloody Mary, don’t be getting it twisted.)

Wait…They’re making me look at a drawing of a dragon, on a chalkboard….Lol. One second…..

Luca: ‘I love Game of Thrones…It’s all tits and dragons..’

I will tell you that last night before all the madness shimmied my way, I remember sitting at the The Carleton which the girls sat around me and sending a message to ‘The Swirl.’ I think about him a lot. All the time, to be honest. I can’t get him out of my head. It’s a happy ‘lull’ that I feel for him. I can’t really help it. It’s something that’s been built upon and it’s well balanced. It’s a bit of everything…it can be wild, general, loving, funny, sexy, work mode or just normal.

All I sent was…

‘Thinking about you…’

He replied quickly with ‘Kissy Face‘ emojis.

Then i got back to the girls, who would have no clue that I ever sent anyone a message. Lol.

That was our check in. We’d chatted through the day. But that was when we were we zapped out of current worlds, just for a moment, to check into each others….

Thanks for following my life…

Fights, Willies & Wunna Land

Life is currently great! I am in THE BEST mood ever. Technically, last week I was a jazzy bit hormonal, however now i’m all roses and winks. I’ve surfed the wave, had a word with myself and now i’m  back on the winners track. Things are great! I’ve had a lot on my mind over the last few weeks. Those niggly things that need to get sorted, that you box and ‘pretty bow’ to the back on your head in merry ‘trying to not deal with’ storage.

‘I’ll deal with them later.’

After a chat, a sprinkle of finally taking my life by the reins again and committing to only doing the things that make me smile, I kinda felt like an entire burden had been lifted from me by ‘The Gods’ (hot ones in togas)…and it came as a shock, because I didn’t think that brief moment of chat or decision making would make me feel as happy as it did. I as kinda scared of it. Yet if anything, in that moment I PROVED that you should only do the things that you love. The things that you were made for. If you don’t or if what you’re doing doesn’t eventually lead or guide you to where you see your future…If it doesn’t help your future at all…then not only are you wasting your time, but you’ll never feel fulfilled. You’ll miss your happy place. I’M actually talking about work in this case, yet this goes for literally anything..be it work, love or life…which we all seem to take for jolly granted.

This year, I’ve committed myself to taking chances, doing what I love, focusing on work and falling in love. I’ve changed a lot and it’s been nothing short of amazing. It makes you feel powerful. And it’s that feeling of internal POWER that makes you successful. Why? Well, because you’re happy IN ALL AREAS of your life. If you don’t have the ‘snazzle’ of everything, in balance, then you are wibbly. And when you’re wibbly, you fall much faster. 😉

Let me take you back to Friday….

Me: ‘Who is she even messaging…?’

Double B: ‘Some guy…she’s stalking him…’

Me: ‘Why are you secretly stalking him…Lol? You’re literally rewatching his Snapchats lovingly, with gentle creepy smiles.’

Hustle Barbie: ‘I can’t help it! Haha. He’s so…He’s just a baby though. Too young.’

Me: ‘What happened to funny Bald Dave or whatever he’s called?’

Hustle B: ‘No, i’ve gone off him now. He’s not being responsive! HAHAHAH!’

(It’s hilarious because Hustle Barbie is an extremely attractive blond. She’s hot. Guys fancy her. They buy her gin and lillies. And Funny Bald Dave…who she stalked for a bit because he was…well funny… DON’T ASK…in my mind… would be PUNCHING AND THEN SOME….So if Hustle Barbie was to send you a message…you’d probably respond immediately…Surely you would? I don’t get it Bald Dave. She’s going through this weird phase of internet stalking the lesser male. Hahahah.)

Double B: I had sex last night. First time in FOUR MONTHS.’

Me: ‘Look at you! Hahaha. You actually gave him some? Why? What happened?’

(Double B has been in this longterm 3 year relationship with ‘J’, who I think is hilarious. They are both so ideally suited, and part of a young ‘let’s spend thousands of pounds at *Ralphies* in 3 hours’ couple. Such a great match. She never gives him sex though…and he still adores her madly. EVEN THOUGH, he definitely wants a bit of nookie.)

Double B: ‘I dunno. I just felt sexy…’

Hustle Barbie: ‘…because we were all talking about sex yesterday.’

Double B: ‘ I wanted it , so just grabbed his willy. It’s put me in a good mood. I should do it more often.’

Me: ‘Why don’t you have sex with him?’

Double D: ‘Cos it usually lasts about a minute..’

Me: ‘Cos you never give him any…’

Hustle Barbie: ‘I always know when Alex wants sex, because he’ll come out the shower and leave his clothes off and then lay on the bed butt naked…It’s normal to not have sex when you’ve been together for a long time.’

Me: ‘No it’s not! Lol. The longer you’re with them, the better sex gets.’

Double B: ‘I’m definitely having sex more often. He’s just text me to tell me that he’s taking me out to dinner now.. Did you know that when men get older their willies get darker…!!’

Me: ‘No they don’t….Haha.’

Hustle B: ‘What dya mean darker? How old?’

Double B: ‘Like at 70…the older they get, the darker their willy gets.’

Me: ‘How do you know what a 70 year olds will looks like? They’re not white and all of a sudden have a big black willy. Lol’

Hustle B: ‘I’m snapchatting this…. Say it again…’

And she did…that’s what I love about Double B….she’s ever the showman…as am I!!!! She’ll perform in the name of humour and it’s GREAT!

Me: Ugh…I’ve got to try and build my Instagram following….’

Double B: ‘Is that why you’re posting so many selfies…Lol..’

Me: ‘Yes…Hahaha. Add me! Add me! Love me! Love me!’

I sailed into the weekend…The suns out….It’s now Sunday, but I sorted another little ‘niggly’ mind box out before the weekend sprung…and again felt much better for it. I’ve made loads of decisions, ‘cut and dry’ ones over the last 2 days…and It’s made me BEAM because i chose to stay loyal to what I believe is right.  I’m quite composed and I’ll never really let people see what’s going on when they’re around me if i DO have ‘niggly’ bits going on in my head. That’s why I find it easy to write things out, because you can’t actually see me. Lol. In person i’m fun loving, laid back and pretty much always positive…I’m a laugh…Yet, I never left people see me ‘not okay.’ But one of the great things about me, is that I make decisions quickly. I always know what i want and when I know, I will whole heartedly commit to it.

Saturday morning felt wonderful. I was gleefully wallowing in the happiest of moods. I felt glamourous. I felt powerful. I felt like I had everything under control. I had a meeting, went through the Wunna Land plan. I never tell you my plans, as I always think you shouldn’t…as in a ‘Social’ climate you have to be able to meander and change plans accordingly at a drop of a stiletto. I’m fluid like that. But I’ve been patient and i’m not always too patient. I’ve learnt to be. I now don’t strike before i’m ready. I’ve spent a good amount of time ‘building’ Wunna land and make sure, I’m mot steady on my heels, but SOLID on them, so I stay on my feet. I sipped a couple cocktails. I’ve concentrated on what I’m doing and not what anyone else is doing…

Meeting: ‘Who else do you know…that you can name off the top of your head, literally off the top off your head, who is doing what you’re doing…as well as you’re doing it…..right now?’

Me: ‘Well…

Meeting: ‘And I don’t mean bloggers and all sorts…There’s tons of people trying their luck at it all …and I don’t even mean people who are different to you, who are doing it extremely well…I mean IN YOUR NICHE…’

Me: ‘Well no one…I can’t think of anyone at the top of my head. I mean there must be someone? I just haven’t really searched for a rival of sorts. I’ve just been zoning in on what I’m doing, not what they’re doing…and the shit thing is, I don’t read anyone else’s blog. That’s not true, I read one and i’ve been reading a whole bunch of memoirs. But there’s room for everyone…it’s Cyberland…There isn’t just one good blog about this one thing…on the whole of the internet.’

Meeting: ‘In Cyberland….in life in general….that’s true. In business….and you’ve turned your life into a business…IN YOUR NICHE…there is only room for ONE. You’ve done it the exact same way, that I did, you found your own way…again in a niche that is unique to yourself. You’ve made something old school, like diary writing.. MODERN.  In business, there’s room for one…there’s always a Bride and a Bridesmaid.’

Luckily, I’ve been a Bride millions of times…Lol…so I think I have this down.

A great meeting with my mentor. He is a very successful person, a very famous person, I knew them personally waaay before anyone did, when they began their own little blog, that they turned into a multi million dollar business. It’s good to have someone who has done what you’re , believe in you madly. Not only does it make you feel guided, but it makes you strong.

Then I got dressed, sent a Whatsapp message to ‘The Swirl’ wishing him good luck and better ribs…I like him. I find him really interesting….I’m hooked…..and with a stroke of my new baby kitten Rocco, I ventured into the world…to live!

It’s now Sunday. I watched the Mayweather/McGregor fight. I rooted for Mayweather all the way. I love a champion and I kinda didn’t want his Champion title to get smudged. He’s really the only one that had anything to lose. McGregor is good at what he does, they’re both great at what they do. Yet he’s not a boxer and well he was GREAT PR when it came to getting folk excited. They both made a shit ton of money and life is still great.

I love the Live  Celeb quotes from the fight that night…Like 50 Cent who watched McGregor cuddling Mayweather from behind, for a moment, was like,

‘What the fuck is going on…..Haha….Okay Floyd, just knock this fool out.’

I like that he went in for a bit of a cuddle. He’s hard out there in that ring. Lol. Wait…I’ve made that sound rude by accident.

But even better, Jamie Foxx (who once gave me advice in LA on ‘how to handle boys, now i was bouji’ lol) posted an ace Instagram video about his choice of Fight Shoe, which was a  Gucci Fur Slipper. Lol. You need to watch it. It’s hilarious and fricking FOLLOW ME, whilst you’re at it.

Bloody hell. 🙂

Busy Times, Travel, New Apps & Blackpool

I don’t even know where to start. So much has happened, that it’s almost like a *blur.* In the last 72 hours, i’ve probably worked the hardest i’ve ever worked and travelled from city to city promoting all sorts of jiggery, to all sorts of people. It’s what I wished for right? And yeah, it’s not easy. But i’m a ‘non sulker.’  We just get on with it right? You don’t get anything without working hard and it’s the ones that put in the grind that get the rewards. (Blah, but true.) This is a really busy time in Wunna Land…I don’t even know where to begin…But it’s GREAT!

I’ve fitted in all sorts from work, to leaving do’s, to prosecco dripped afternoons, where we learnt that blowing up balloons that taste like salt is a sin, fanning yourself with used Mayo plates by surprise is disgusting, that we know how to spend almost a £100 on Pornstars Martinis in one round and that i’m shit at stalling people. Lol

‘Chrissie, just go out there and stop her from coming in her! We’re not ready!’

My lips have never been more chapped from balloon blowing. We blew like bitches. Double B turned into a balloon blowing Nazi and Hustle Barbie almost collapsed after gentle blowing ONE! Lol. However, i’m still smiling, so I must be okay. (Or an alcoholic? Who knows?)

There’s been trains, schedules, manic travelling, family birthdays, being mum, filming shows, starting new texting reality dramas for all of you to read and an event blog diary that is filling up all the way through to Autumn faster than I can *blink.* I even have a book to put together over the next few months.

I’ve shared gin and tonics with good friends and you know they’re great when they actually rush upstairs to get changed for the gym and then immediately fuck off the honing of a ‘Kardashian’ booty to jog to the bar to spend ‘G & T’ time with you. That’s what ‘Double B’ did. That is a good human. That’s what I call a glamour puss! It makes me glow knowing that she’s ace. I need beings like that in my world…ALWAYS. You need to be her.

There’s been up and downs, great times and exhaustion and I thought I was gonna feel really sorry for myself ( we always have those moments don’t we, where we all get scared, tired or worried) until my Mum sat me down and said,

‘I know you’re tired. I know it’s hard. I know you’re juggling a lot. And yeah, I hate seeing you think you can’t handle it. But you can. I’m proud of you. You are surrounded by great people, who support you madly. You have one shot at opportunity…and this is your shot…don’t blow it, go for it…In the end, you’ll be beaming. Remember how lucky you are. Stay completely earthed. I love you. I love you more than anything. Go for it.’

Anyway, with that in my head and after a really long work week, I kissed the babies ‘bye’ and shot off on a train to Blackpool to go see one of my good friend Liam Halewood (He’s a singer and entertainer…He did the Xfactor and we’ve become besties, after Lisa Appleton introduced us. ) He’s gay. I’m his token hottie friend. You get it. Booyah! Gin for everyone!

My girls, Liam and I had been texting each other the whole day. (Our private text messages are currently ‘live’ on the Onlookr App for ‘Chrissie in the City’…Where you now get direct insight into my life 24/7, with our messages delivered straight to your phone. It’s had such a mad buzz  on Twitter. I’m not gonna tell you it’s easy, because it’s not and i’m used to having my ‘privates tellings’ splashed all over for the cyber world to read. But I will tell you it’s fun.. It’s a story to tell. Once we get going, we’re ace and I’m really grateful that I have such good friends. I mean that. I really mean that. PS/ Thank you… You’re wonderful.) At this moment in time. I’d say, we’re really lucky.

But yeah, I slept all the way up to Blackpool with messages coming in galore, weird tramps next to me who kept shouting out the word ‘Pussy’ (they had their kids next to them also…delicious,) time was going slowly and i had a message from a production company who are working on a Channel 4 show, that I want to be on. They asked me to call them pronto. It made me feel giddy!

I had zero charge on my phone, so  I just couldn’t do it. OFCOURSE. I don’t like trains without chargey spots. Infact, you know when they say ‘Divas’ always have ‘high maintenance’ requests…like..

‘I’ll only have green M & M’s and Gin & Tonic flavoured crisps please..’

(Yes, you can get them. 😉 )

My ONLY EVER requests are..

‘There needs to be an alcoholic beverage of any kind, but not a shot, free wifi and phone charger points close to me, at all times.’

(Sorry, i’m pissing myself. It’s still Junior’s birthday weekend and their both still up having a ‘dance party’ in the next room, after an entire day at Sundown Adventure land. They’re cute. I LOVE THEM. It’s late. But whatever, I’m soft. You’re only 4 once. 🙂 )

As soon as I got off the Leeds train to Blackpool, life just lit up! I was ready. I’d had a nap. Lol. I was excited to see Liam and there he was with a hug. (Even though we just stood there talking , accidentally at the front of the taxi queue, waiting for a his hubby Lee to come get us, as other people formed an orderly queue behind us and waited for ages for a cab.)

‘Ooh shit sorry! We didn’t realize you were waiting for a taxi! We’re just chatting. Lol.’

Got back to Liam’s and chilled it for a bit, as we caught up with Lee his hubbster, I had an a phone call audition to tend to, so i scheduled that in and did it on speaker as I got completed naked and got changed into a ‘going to dinner’ dress and then we slagged all the new Big Brother contestants off. Well…I did. Liam’s nicer than I am. Lol. (When he’s not pissed. Lol.) I’m the opposite. I’m nicer when drunk and yeah i’d say heavily down to earth but naturally SASSY when sober. 🙂  I have no problem telling you what i honestly think.

(‘Fairytale Blond’ has just ruined Sunday by reminding me of our ‘next week’ work schedule. She wanted to share her pain with me and remind me that we’re both on some hardcore diet from now on. Lol. We’re too hot to work that hard. Honest! Why is she ruining Sunday? 🙂  We have one day off…that has already been scheduled out to Gino’s Restaurant in Leeds. For the next 12 days straight, i will be with ‘fairytale.’ She’s put us all on diets! Lol)

Anyway, great hour long phone audition done, our friend Aaron stopped by, Liam got changed, as he was filming his Facebook Live ‘Liam’s Corner of the Couch’  thing with a singing gig to follow and I dashed into my dress, hopped in the car and we all headed for dinner at the Waves Bistro.

Great place, because it’s so chilled yet so lovely.  As soon as you walk in it’s filled with ambiance, which I love and beautiful seaside detail. Like our table was glass covered, with internally filled with soft sand, that had scattered real sea shells and stones in. I loved it. It was warm. Well appointed. Had things like a sensor lighthouse on the walls and new fittings with decadent glamourous rooms. His hotel has actual been on the Channel 4 show ‘Four Beds..’ and it won!

Matt the owner..

‘I love that picture..’

‘Which one…? Oh that one of me casually in a bath in a barn! lol’

…came to greet me immediately with the biggest smile and the greatest most down to earth manner. Not snooty at all. I love that! I felt at home straight away…then asked for a Prosecco and a phone charger point. 🙂 He couldn’t be more easy to get on with and when youre easy to get on with and have a bottle of bubbles in your hand, i’m probably going to be your bestie…

Liam was setting up for his ‘Liam’s corner of the couch’ interview with ME. I was shitting myself for no reason..and now guzzling wine. Aaron was looking through menu’s. Then we all whammed in steak food orders…

‘Yeah, the steak, no fat..’

‘No blood..’

‘I don’t mind blood…No carbs, so just veg…’

‘Do you do fish?’

Then we filmed the show. I watched Liam chitter chatter for a bit. I talked shit in the live interview with him, where I talked Paris Hilton, Steven Bartlett for a bit…and we all sat down with Matt the owner over the most delicious starters (I had the roasted bell pepper) and steak mains. I’d go again…and I hardly ever say that! It just felt lovely and I always go on how places make me feel. It’s the manner of the joint.

Best Service ever…Best company ever. Even the noisy ‘when we were filming’ Geordies were ace.

‘How do we shut them up?’

Delicate sea shelled tables, light Prosecco pours, perfectly cooked steak and right by the beach at the coast. Who knew Waves Bistro existed? He’s done a fasntatstic job. That will be one of the BEST places in Blackpool. Everything had been modernized in the warmest way. I mean the staff couldn’t be more chilled and polite. No wonder it won awards. I did selfies with Matt, by a lighthouse wall. He deserved them.

Then all was said and done…we’re ordering taxi’s to take us to the next hotel for Liam’s gig and..

*PAP/PAP/PAP/PAP/PAP*

*PAP/PAP/PAP/PAP/PAP/PAP/PAP*

*PAP/PAP*

And that was non stop upon exit, until they nearly got run over, by a taxi.

‘Who are you dating? Are you off on Big Brother?’

I’m great with all that though. It all helps. 😉

Got to next hotel and could finally just chill! Aaron and I watched Liam do his set and he’d down played it to me like he was shit, but he was AMAZING.

We drank, we laughed, we drank, we laughed, we got our Tina Turner on, then were joined by Kyle (he’s Aaron’s friend and a Wunna fan, so he’s already a favourite) and we committed to a night of debauchery.

Got out that hotel…

*PAP/PAP/PAP/PAP/PAP*

But by then it was a blast. We were all ‘tell it how it is’ and  sweary. For the most expressive human, I was great and graceful and all ‘I don’t know sir?’

We all jumped into a cab, I plonked on Liam’s Playboy comfies. (I love comfies more than anything in the world.) I text all my chick friends to make sure life was all in tact and sent a guy I was thinking about a message, AFTER ORDERING DOMINOS AT 2 AM in the morning.

Great nights sleep. Did my face in a Apple Desktop computer screen the next morning. I had such a great time. I couldn’t have been looked after better. It meant a lot. It made me smile. I can’y wait to go again.

Got straight back in the afternoon, after coffee, banter and a cheeseburger by Balamory looking Houses. All I wanted was to see the babies after such a tough week of work. I love work. I love my friends. I’m grateful for everything. But i love my baby time. I’m in charge of making sure they’re great adults…Its a huge thing for me. I do it well by making them feel special. No…I do it the best I can….All parents do, with our fingers crossed.

Got back to Leeds, texted everyone…and then I slept…

I’ll be back on track tomorrow. Ill have a good blog. I’m just so knackered. I need extra shut eye. x Diet starts tomorrow, as my friends and I ALL have bikinis to get into.

Life is changing. Good things are happening. It’s a shock. But if you don’t take it too seriously and enjoy the ride, its not so shabby.

DON’T FORGET THAT MY BEST FRIENDS AND i HAVE OPENED UP OUT PRIVATE TEXT MESSAGES FOR 10 DAYS ONLY, FOR THE PUBLIC TO READ….OPENLY.

THEY ARE CURRENTLY ‘LIVE’ ON THE ONLOOKR APP for ‘CHRISSIE IN THE CITY’ and there’s no better way to get an actual insight to what we really goes on in Wunna land.
